From 1982 to 1992, 22000 Australians suicided - mostly aged between 15 and 24 and mostly young men. More young men are likely to suicide than die of cancer or road accidents.

1994 - Australia has the highest rate of teenage suicide in the world. Queensland has the highest in Australia, and Redcliffe, 200% higher than anywhere else in Queensland.
