China 2003: At least 53 members of unregistered house churches were arrested in June. High profile prisoner, Pastor Gong Shengliang, is reportedly being tortured by police. Nigeria: Pastor Matthew Omodion's four children died when militants threw the children into their burning home in Koko. Indonesia: In June, a mob burned a church to the ground in Bekasi and destroyed another with a bulldozer in North Bekasi. A pastor was also murdered in North Sumatra after leading Sunday Services.¹ Can I just close my heart to what’s happening?

A little girl at the beach had a box of chips. There were a few seagulls. The box had tipped over, but she was eating the chips. Suddenly, the wind blew the box about 4 metres away and the little girl ran to get it. When she got back there wasn't a single chip left. The seagulls had had a feeding frenzy. Satan will always take advantage if we are distracted from the task.
