Jenny was with a group of teenagers at a party. "Let's go to a night club" someone suggested. Jenny said, "No, my parents wouldn't like that." One of the other girls said, "Afraid your father will hurt you?" "No," she replied. "I'm not afraid my father will hurt me. I'm afraid I might hurt him." That's the point, isn't it? I'm not afraid that my Father is going to punish me. I just don't want to do things that displease Him. Sin should grieve us - that's a sign of a normal healthy relationship with God. If it doesn't grieve us, there's something wrong.
