Lordship is not like a buffet where you can select different foods according to what you want. Lordship isn't optional.
Lordship means obedience. If you claim someone is your boss, but don't obey them, they're not really your boss.
Imagine you've got a yacht, and Jesus is also on board. He knows everything about the boat, and He knows every aspect of the ocean you're in. Are you going to let Him be the captain or are you going to make Him the cabin boy? How do you know whether He's the captain or the cabin boy? A young man joined the Navy, and shortly after asked his officer for a pass so he could attend a wedding. The officer gave him the pass, but told the new recruit he would have to be back by 7 pm Sunday. "But sir, you don't understand, " said the recruit. "I'm in the wedding."
