John Sandford, talking to a homosexual quoted Lev 20:13 "If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them." The response was: "John, that's talking about promiscuity. I don't lie with any man, only my lover."
John Sandford was told by a lesbian pastor that the reason God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah was that they failed to practise hospitality.
On the subject of a "gay gene", Alan Chambers, president of Exodus International (ministry to gays), who himself was homosexual till he was transformed by Christ, said, "Who cares if it is genetic? Science should never be used to try to trump God's Word. ... Look, just because something is genetic doesn't make it healthy, optimal, desirable, or right."1
Is there a gay gene? Does it matter? What if they found a gene that made someone alcoholic? That would not make alcoholism right, and it wouldn't change the fact that God can set that person free.
When the religious leaders complained that Jesus was hanging around with sinners of the worst kind, He said, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance." (Mark 2:17)
